Liquor License

What is a liquor license?  In most states in the United States there is a governing agency that regulates the production, distribution and/or sales of Alcoholic Beverages.  This is done to insure that these beverages are legally produced, sold and consumed and that the State is properly compensated by way of taxes and fees.

Who needs a liquor license? If you, your business or event handles or sells alcoholic beverages then it will likely need a license.  Types of businesses that might need a license: Liquor Wholesalers and Distributors, Bars, Taverns, Pubs, Restaurants, Convenience Stores, Grocery Stores, Wineries, Distilleries, Breweries, Sporting Events and Venues, Concert Halls, and the list goes on.
